Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Must the exact package include the AC adapter, or will you supply a compatible power accessory?
The exact LW-C610PXADPT kit page lists one Epson AC adapter with the printer and starter cassette. The base LW-C610PX package does not list that adapter.
Explore this need in the finder →Do you want to compose labels on a phone, or type directly on the machine?
The C610PX workflow is app-first. Epson documents Label Editor Mobile over Bluetooth; the machine has no built-in keyboard in the reviewed sources.
Explore this need in the finder →If you design on a Windows computer, can the connection be Bluetooth rather than USB?
The current Windows download entry and regional setup guide document Bluetooth; the reviewed material does not establish a USB path for this model.
Explore this need in the finder →Do Epson PX cassettes up to 24 mm fit the job, or is a wider cassette essential?
Epson lists this C610PX at up to 24 mm. The 36 mm Epson PX width choice is beyond its documented limit.
Explore this need in the finder →Is automatic cutting enough, or must you operate a manual cutter for each label?
The exact product page lists a built-in automatic full cutter. The reviewed sources do not confirm a manual lever.
Explore this need in the finder →Is the supplied adapter or an internal rechargeable battery essential?
The bundle supplies an AC adapter and also supports six AA alkaline cells, which are not included. No internal rechargeable pack is documented.

The Epson LW-C610PX Printer with Adapter is the standard home-and-hobby C610PX printer sold as the exact U.S. SKU LW-C610PXADPT. The bundle page lists the printer, one half-inch black-on-white PX cassette, and one AC adapter. That adapter is the practical distinction from Epson’s base LW-C610PX offer, whose package list omits it. This is not a new printer engine or a wired desktop model: it remains the same small, Bluetooth-first C610PX. The U.S. page showed the exact SKU as orderable when checked, so this review treats that configuration as a current reference, not a promise about later stock.
Decide how you want to compose labels
There is no walk-up QWERTY keyboard on this model. Epson’s Label Editor Mobile app is the straightforward route for a phone or tablet: design on the device and send the job over Bluetooth. The regional setup guide also describes a Windows computer connection over Bluetooth, and Epson’s current U.S. download page lists Label Editor V3 for Windows with Bluetooth as the connection method. That is useful if your design work starts on a larger screen, but it is not a USB workflow. Epson’s general product copy emphasizes mobile-app use, so confirm the current Windows download and compatibility details before making a computer-centered purchase.
Bluetooth does not mean Wi-Fi or Wireless Direct. The reviewed sources do not document those network paths, a printer-side keyboard, or an internal rechargeable battery. If your ordinary workflow is “walk up, type a name, and print” without a phone or computer, a label maker with physical keys is a better match. Likewise, an essential USB or Wi-Fi requirement should rule this configuration out rather than be inferred from wireless connectivity.
What the included adapter changes
The bundle is especially sensible for a counter, craft table, home office, or shared labeling station where the printer can stay near an outlet. You do not need to identify and buy the adapter separately, and the box already includes a starter cassette for a first batch of labels. Epson still lists six AA batteries as an alternative power source, but they are not included. That flexibility is useful for a short temporary job; it does not turn the C610PX into a rechargeable handheld, and keeping six disposable cells ready for frequent use may be less convenient than using the supplied adapter at a desk.
The page names the kit contents in text; the image used here is Epson’s standard C610PX product image and shows the printer beside a PX cassette, not the adapter. I was unable to archive the separate bundle image completely, so I have not used that partial file or presented the shared printer image as a box-contents photo. Check the exact LW-C610PXADPT SKU when comparing listings; the visually similar black LW-C610PX-BLK adapter bundle is another observed configuration, not the same finish or item number.
PX tape and output limits
The printer uses Epson’s PX cassette system. Epson lists widths from 4 through 24 mm for the C610PX, with selected Designer and Industrial PX supplies; check the individual cassette for the surface, imprint, or cable task you need. The half-inch starter tape is a useful general-purpose size, while the 24 mm ceiling leaves more room for headings and larger identifiers than Epson’s compact C410PX, which tops out at 18 mm. PX is a proprietary cassette family, not a generic roll that can be substituted with Brother TZe or DYMO D1.
Epson lists 360 dpi, an automatic full cutter, a 10 mm minimum margin, a body measuring about 2.17 by 5.24 by 5.75 inches, and a 1.04-pound weight. A wide cassette is not a promise of the same printable height or a particular number of lines: those output dimensions were not established in the evidence used here. The product page does not establish full-color output. Epson’s mobile app can disable automatic cutting, but the reviewed sources do not confirm a person-operated hand cutter; switching auto-cut off is not the same as using a manual lever.
Who should choose this exact configuration?
Choose the LW-C610PXADPT if the C610PX’s app or Windows-over-Bluetooth workflow and PX media suit your labeling, and you want Epson’s AC adapter included from the start. The included power supply makes this version easier to set up for recurring desk use than the base printer-only offer. Choose the base C610PX instead if you already have the compatible power supply and prefer not to buy another; consider the black adapter bundle if that exact finish better suits your workspace. These packages share the C610PX’s core tape and connection limits.
Look at another model if you require a built-in keyboard, USB or Wi-Fi, an internal rechargeable battery, a hand-operated cutter, full-color photos, or a guaranteed print-height/line-count specification. Epson’s LW-K740PX offers a different on-device keyboard workflow, while the C410PX is smaller in capability and width ceiling rather than a cheaper way to obtain this adapter bundle. The useful buying decision here is narrow but real: the adapter and starter cassette arrive with this exact C610PX SKU, while the printer still expects you to compose labels on a paired device and use Epson PX supplies.
